Situated in a protected landscape area on the shore of one of the largest natural lakes in France, muscadet côtes-de-grandlieu wines are beautifully fresh with well-rounded aromas featuring notes of white flowers.

This year, in Bouaye, a little village at 20-minute drive from Nantes, we propose you a Vignes Vins Randos walk through to vineyards and woodlands. Discover the vineyard of this recognize AOC and taste different wines of the appellation and local specialities.

  1. Leave the Château de La Mévellière to reach the vineyard. In the midst of vines, take a break and taste a gros-plant-du-pays-nantais, with oysters (juice and brioche for children).
  2. Continue your trail, walking path along in the village. Then, you arrive in the heart of La Tindière vines and enjoy an exceptional open landscape. And, follow explanations of your guide about the main grape variety of the appellation: melon de bourgogne. You arrive at your second stop surrounded of vines and planted of melon de Bourgogne. Taste a muscadet and the famous galette Saint-Michel.
  3. Then, walk through to fields and vines. Thanks to your guide’s explanations, learn more about the wine activity history, different grapes varieties, and the winemaking. Pass under the magnificent Pin Parasol, the emblematic tree of Bouaye, enjoy the beautiful view on a restored hunting lodge and the older vines of the village (planted more than 70 years ago). At you 3rd stop, you have the opportunity to taste a mystery vintage wine carefully selected for you by winemakers.
Return to the VVR village, located in the park of La Mévellière in front of the castle. All the VVR team welcome you in a warm atmosphere.
Let yourself be transported by the 
music and the beauty of nature, and enjoy a moment of pure pleasure in this historic location. You can eat thanks to food trucks on the site.
The wines you tasted during today’s walk will be on sale. And enjoy a local product selling on a little market.
