Unique walk in Sarthe, enjoy magnificent panorama during this Vignes Vins Randos walk on jasnières and coteaux du loir appellations. Winemakers propose this year an unprecedented trail from the little village of Lhomme. Let yourself be taken by the unspoiled nature and the little local heritage!
Stops along the route: 

1.       Begin your trail from the heart of wines and enjoy the panoramic view on hillside. Admire the opened landscape, essential for vines’ full development. You reach the domain de la Gaudinière. Daniel and Claude Cartereau offer you a tasting of white wines with local rillettes.

2.      
Come down the hillside toward the Gidonnière castle of the 17 century and its 19th century wind turbine. Take a break in La loge Courtoux where Christine and Bernard de Mianville prepare a demonstration of labour by animal traction.  

3.      
Continue your walk until a cellar of tuffeau where an exceptional tasting is waiting for you: winemakers have selected a vintage wine of appellations specially for the event! Will you guess which vintage wine is it?


4.      
Follow explanations of the winemaker became guide for few hours! He will explain you all about his work and his territory. With sounds of a music group, enjoy a wine tasting with local cheese.


5.      
Climb the hillside to meet Stephanie Barioz who present you all the vines heritage wealth. A fascinating break with a photography’s and postal cards’ exposition

Back at the village VVR, you will be warmly welcomed by all the VVR team. Enjoy a picnic or other refreshments, and winemakers propose you buy  wines tasted during your walk. On the village, enjoy also children’s entertainment and a live music.

It’s the perfect moment to blow the VVR ‘s fifteen candles in a friendly and festive atmosphere! Complete your quiz and try to win one of numerous gifts! 

At few meters from the village, you can visit the museum of Lhomme.
