In the heart of a royal land, dominated by the medieval stronghold, Chinon and its surrounding areas offer an exceptional cultural, historic and oenological heritage. Chinon’ s wine, an historic cru of Loire, propose a wide range of wines.

From the tourist cellar of Panzoult, the cellar of Sybille, you go for a rich and varied ride through vineyards and hills of the appellation. The local vine growers are waiting for you to discover their terroirs and their wines during a walk punctuated by many activities.

1.       After a quick walk in Panzoult, you join vines with a typical terroir of the Chinon appellation, which gives supple and fruity wines. You see the seigniorial estate of Roncée before stopping at the dovecote of the castle for a tasting break. A stone carver animation will enliven your tasting of white and rosé wines, with goat cheese.

2.       The walk continues in the vines with a superb view of the vineyard. The winemakers are there to guide you but also to give you explanations on the different terroirs of the appellation and wines. During your second break, the visit of Pascal Brunet and Arnaud Florent's estate is animated by a basketwork animation and, of course, a tasting of red wines that will be served with local dishes and cold meats.

3.       Climbing on the hills, you cross the vineyards and enjoy a magnificent view of Panzoult. You stop at La Galippe, in the shadow of the walnut tree, where a geo-sensory tasting of the red wines of Chinon, with some toasts, awaits you.

4.       Then, you take a forest and bucolic path that leads you to Éric Hérault's estate. He invites you to discover its troglodytic cellar where the brotherhood of the entonneurs rabelaisiens will animate the tasting of red wines with local specialities.

At the end of your walk, all the winemakers welcome you to the VVR village. At the rhythm of a group of music animating the village, you can feast with the products of local producers. Wine tasted during the hike will be available for sale and children will enjoy the inflatable games.

Picnics are allowed.
