A château, a cellar-windmill and a game of ‘boule de fort’ are just some of the highlights of this  Vignes Vins Randos walk as it wends its way through the hillsides of the small, schist-rich Bonnezeaux terroir, home to a sweet, golden wine.

Stops on this walk: 
  1. Learn about the terroir: an introduction to the area’s geological make-up and how it shapes the appellation wines.
  2. Stop at the heart of the vineyards to sample a range of bonnezeaux wines served with rillauds d'Anjou – a local pork speciality – and to admire the views of Thouarcé with its distillery.
  3. A further stop to taste a vintage bonnezeaux wine in the shade of a sequoia tree, paired this time with Anjou black pudding. Enjoy a demonstration of ‘Boule de Fort’ –the local sport of choice.
Before going on your walk, the winegrowers offer you the possibility to try the gyropod, a new convivial and innovative mode of travel!

Back at the VVR village, carry on enjoying the party atmosphere in the company of winemakers and other participants.  It’ll be the perfect moment to blow the VVR ‘s fifteen candles in a friendly and festive atmosphere!

The restaurant Les Terrasses de Bonnezeaux offers a 20 € menu with:
